Cherry Blossom is the registered name of a perfume which is very popular just now. The name cannot be given to any other than that made by Messrs Gosnell but those who admire that perfume will find the following recipe all they desire for richness of odour and permanence:
- Essence of wood violets 14dr
- French extract of orange flowers from pomade 5oz
- French extract of jasmin from pomade 10dr
- Essential oil of lemon peel 2dr
- True balsam of Peru 12 drops
- Nitro benzol (oil of mirbane) 13 drops
- Rectified spirits of wine 5oz.
Shake the whole well together and keep for a month before using
